# Google Sheets Import Guide for the Shopify GEO/AEO Workbook

The downloadable CSV files are Google Sheets-ready. Use this guide to turn them into a shared workspace for weekly Shopify GEO/AEO execution.

- Use the CSV files when you want a native Google Sheets workspace with shared owners, filters, comments, and weekly updates.

## Option 1: Import One CSV

1. Open Google Sheets.
2. Create a blank spreadsheet.
3. Go to File > Import.
4. Upload one of the CSV files from `/downloads`.
5. Choose "Replace current sheet" or "Insert new sheet".
6. Freeze the first row.
7. Add filters.
8. Share with the growth SEO product and engineering owners.

## Option 2: Build the Full Workbook in Google Sheets

Create one Google Sheet with these tabs:

## Recommended Formatting

- Freeze row 1 on every tab.
- Add filters to every column.
- Use conditional formatting for Priority and Status.
- Use data validation for Score fields: 0, 1, 2, 3.
- Use one owner per row.
- Add one Date updated column if your team wants an audit trail.
- Review the workbook every Friday.

## Suggested Conditional Formatting

- Score 0: red fill.
- Score 1: amber fill.
- Score 2: pale green fill.
- Score 3: dark green fill.
- Priority Critical: red text.
- Priority High: amber text.
- Status Blocked: red fill.
- Status Shipped: green fill.
- Retest scheduled: blue fill.

## Operating Rules

- Every row needs one accountable owner.
- Every Critical or High row needs a due date.
- Every prompt test needs an exact engine, prompt, answer evidence, cited source, and retest date.
- Every page fix should be submitted in Google Search Console URL Inspection after publishing.
- Every shipped fix should be retested in the same AI engine prompt set within 7 days.
- Do not delete old prompt rows. Duplicate them and change the test date so trend is preserved.

- Critical
- High
- Medium
- Low

## Suggested Weekly Review Questions

1. Which prompts started generating impressions?
2. Which pages got clicks but no conversion?
3. Which AI engines mentioned competitors instead of us?
4. Which facts were hallucinated or wrong?
5. Which schema or product data fixes shipped?
6. Which pages need GSC URL Inspection?
7. Which gap will create the most commercial upside next week?

## Share Settings

Recommended access model:

- View access for leadership.
- Comment access for sales, support, and agency partners.
- Edit access only for owners who update rows weekly.
- Keep one protected copy of the workbook before major quarterly resets.
